Shipping Rules

At BoiChitro.in, we follow a simple and affordable shipping policy. Shipping charges depend on the destination pin code and shipment weight. We also provide huge discounts on shipping charges for higher value orders.

Dispatch & Delivery Timelines

  • We usually ship orders within 1–3 business days from receiving the order.
  • We partner with reputed courier services like XpressBees, Delhivery, FedEx, and Dotzot based on service availability in your pincode. For remote locations where these agencies do not service, we use the Indian Postal Service to dispatch our orders.
Estimated Delivery Time After Dispatch:
  • West Bengal: Up to 3–5 days.
  • North East, Kerala, Andaman & Nicobar, J&K, and Other Special Pincodes: Up to 7–10 days.
  • Rest of India: Up to 4–6 days.

*We apply flexible shipping charges dynamically based on your pincode and total package weight.

Cash On Delivery (COD) Terms

COD is available for delivery addresses across India, subject to the following updated terms:

  • COD Extra Charges: An additional handling charge of 2% of the cart subtotal OR ₹39 (whichever is higher) will be added to your final order total.
  • Order Limit: Cash on Delivery is strictly available for orders up to ₹5,000. Orders exceeding ₹5,000 must be prepaid using our online payment methods.
  • Verification Policy: If you are unable to answer our verification call, or if the phone number provided is invalid/switched off after placing a Cash on Delivery order, BoiChitro India reserves the right to cancel the order.

Store Pickup Facility

If you choose to book your products on our website and pick them up yourself:

  • It takes approximately 2–3 days from the purchase date to arrange your books at your selected store.
  • Kindly call the store before coming to collect your order.
  • Important: You must collect your product within 10 days from the "Ready for Pick Up" date, failing which claims regarding the order will not be entertained.
