Lakshmi Parui opened her eyes and discovered herself in a small room. There was another girl in the room who was sleeping with her back turned towards her. She was naked! Gradually Lakshmi’s eyes fell on her own bare body. There was not a thread of cloth on her, either! A common trick to prevent the trafficked girls from escaping. Lakshmi breaks down while relating the story of kidnap, rape and violence to her investigating officer Humayun Kabir. How does she escape the life of a trafficked woman and return to the police? Does she manage to come out of the lock up?
